Dans un communiqué du Ministère des Affaires Étrangères rendu public le lundi 23 juin 2025, Kinshasa condamne les frappes ayant visé le territoire souverain de l’État du Qatar en violation des principes fondamentaux de la souveraineté des États consacrés par la charte des Nations-Unies.
La République Démocratique du Congo exprime sa pleine solidarité avec le peuple frère et ami du Qatar, et réaffirme son attachement au respect de la souveraineté et de l’intégrité territoriale de tous les États.
Elle salue également le rôle actif du Qatar en faveur du dialogue et des initiatives diplomatiques visant à promouvoir la paix et la stabilité, dans la région comme au-delà
Pour rappel, depuis le 18 mars dernier, l’État du Qatar a rapproché le Président Congolais, Félix Tshisekedi et son homologue Rwandais, Paul Kagame. Sur son territoire se poursuivent encore des pourparlers entre les délégués de la coalition AFC-M23 et du gouvernement Congolais.
Face à la gravité de la situation au Moyen-Orient, la RDC appelle l’ensemble des parties à faire preuve de retenue, à œuvrer en faveur d’une désescalade rapide et à privilégier la voie du dialogue et de la diplomatie, seul chemin vers un règlement pacifique des différends, la préservation de la stabilité régionale et des vies humaines, souligne le document.
