Ce mercredi, 19 juin 2024 à Goma, a eu lieu, le lancement officiel de la formation des journalistes sur les techniques de production de reportages de grande qualité, sensibles au conflit et au genre. Concernés, quarante journalistes de Rutshuru, Masisi et Goma ont été sélectionnés pour en être outillés.
Cette formation s’inscrit directement dans l’exécution du projet de renforcement des capacités des journalistes et médias du Nord-Kivu pour une information de qualité, cohésive et inclusive exécuté par l’union Nationale de la presse du Congo, UNPC section du Nord-Kivu et l’appuie de la direction du développement de la coopération Suisse, DDC pour une durée de sept, soit du mois de juin à novembre 2024.
Avec un coût total de 67 mille dollars Américains, laquelle somme, répartis à 17 mille dollars équivalant de 25 de la contribution de l’UNPC, section du Nord-Kivu.
Dans un objectif de renforcer le processus de la démocratisation en République Démocratique du Congo, la presse est une gardienne de la démocratie dans le pays, a affirmée la Madame Rosalie Zawadi, présidente de la section provinciale de l’Union Nationale de la presse du Congo au Nord-Kivu. À elle d’ajouter : »Cette fonction est faite à travers des médias professionnels et pluriels qui agissent dans l’environnement favorable à la liberté de la Presse et sensibles au conflit ».
Outre cet objectif principal, le projet vise aussi, l’accès du public à une information diversifiée, des messages qui permettent au public de contrôler l’action du gouvernement en travaillant dans la prévention de la violence et la cohésion sociale, c’est-à-dire, une production médiatique qui concours à la recherche de la paix et non de messages haineux, qualité du journaliste qui travaille selon, l’éthique et la déontologie professionnelles.

La province du Nord-Kivu en guerre d’agression depuis plus de trois, il es primordial que le journaliste joue un rôle crucial en tant que front médiatique, a déclarée, la conseillère principale du gouverneur militaire de la province, en charge de la communication et médias, madame Prisca Luanda Kamala. À elle d’ajouter : »la capacité à informer de manière juste, cohésive et inclusive est essentiel pour la stabilité et la paix au Nord-Kivu. La presse, gardienne de la démocratie et de la liberté d’expression, [….] gage de la qualité et de la pertinence du secteur de la communication ».
Une presse plus forte, plus juste et plus transparente au service de la communauté et de la démocratie, contribué à une meilleure compréhension des enjeux locaux et nationaux. Par conséquent, elle participe à la construction d’une société plus juste et plus équitable.
Lancée aujourd’hui à Goma, la même formation est prévue pour les journalistes de Butembo et Lubero, en Beni ville et territoires pour trois jours dans chaque entité administrative de l’UNPC Nord-Kivu.
Notons toutefois qu’après la formation des journalistes, interviendra la formation de responsables de rédactions, les productions des messages de sensibilisation sur la prévention de la violence et l’inclusion du genre dans un objectif de promouvoir la place de la femme.
Ces spots, seront diffusés sur les chaînes de radios et télévisions de la place. En somme, toutes ces étapes seront suivies par un travail de monitoring, c’est -à-dire, qu’une équipe de monitoring sera mise en place pour voir l’effectivité des activités des journalistes formés.
