Nord-Kivu : le Synamed a apporté son soutien moral à tous ses médecins

Dimanche 4 Août 2024, le syndicat national des médecins « SYNAMED », a tenu son assemblée générale dans la grande salle de l’Université de Goma dans un objectif de décortiquer les problèmes liés à la vie sociale et professionnelle des médecins du Nord-Kivu.

Sur les onze sections que compte actuellement, le syndicat des médecins au Nord-Kivu, seule la section de Beni était à absente à ce grand rendez-vous de professionnels soignants de la province.

Au cours de ces assises trois questions principales ont été développées pour faciliter les échanges entre les syndiqués, entre autres : la naissance du syndicat(SYNAMED), les avantages bénéficiés par ses membres et les difficultés auxquelles font face les médecins.

« Le SYNAMED est né de l’ordre de médecins lors de son premier congrès du mois d’octobre 1990. Il est l’unique enfant de l’ordre des médecins parce que les autres qui prétendent défendre les intérêts de médecins sont nés du gouvernement « , a indiqué le professeur John SENGA LWAMBA.

 Et de dire :

 » Le bureau exécutif national dont nous sommes le président de contrôle et vérification et dont nous sommes l’émanation, a voulu à ce jour, venir premièrement, dans cette province pour apporter le soutien moral du bureau exécutif national et de tous les membres du syndicat national des médecins. Un soutien moral à vous, médecins et praticiens qui ne cessent de donner le soin à notre population qui est meurtrie », a-t-il dit, le professeur Docteur et secrétaire général national du SYNAMED.

Et d’ajouter :

« C’est une occasion pour nous, de vous demander de continuer ce que vous faites même si, sur le plan humain vous n’avez pas la rétribution adéquate par rapport à ce que vous faites. Nous sommes toujours émerveillés de vos prestations dans cette province au-delà de toutes les souffrances que vous endurées, vous ne manquez pas à votre devoir déontologique, celui d’apporter réconfort et soutien à la population et le soin aux malades, mais aussi, malades psychologiques par rapport tout ce qui se passe », a renchéri ,le professeur.

Une manière pour lui de parler de multiples moments difficiles que traversent les médecins de la province du Nord-Kivu en proie des conflits armés. Cette assemblée générale était organisée à l’initiative du bureau exécutif provincial du Nord-Kivu, conduit par Docteur BIYA, qui fait d’office secrétariat exécutif provincial du SYNAMED au Nord-Kivu qui, pour lui, le but est amené les doléances de tous les médecins de la province au niveau national et, à son tour, le secrétariat général national puisse amener ces doléances auprès des autorités nationales du Pays.

Un hommage a été rendu aux médecins tombé (mort) dans l’exercice de leur fonction sous les atrocités de conflits armés.

Pour Docteur BIYA, « les médecins morts au front, c’est -à-dire, les médecins morts dans leurs structures de prise en charge « , c’est inacceptable que quelqu’un qui vient donner la vie soit tué dans cette situation d’intervention.

« Nous demandons aux autorités locales, provinciales et nationales de mettre en place de mécanismes qui puissent protéger le corps de médecins », a conclu, le secrétaire exécutif provincial du SYNAMED.

Soulignons que cette activité a été présidée par le secrétaire général national avec le concours du président du comité national de contrôle et de vérification, Docteur BEDHO BALEBELA KAZADI sous l’assistance du président exécutif provincial de l’ordre de médecins, KATEMBO MUKWARARI Barry.
