Journée mondiale de l’enfant africain: SED annonce la construction d’un centre d’accueil transitoire en faveur de 50 enfants déplacés

Célébrée le 16 juin de chaque année en mémoire du massacre des enfants innocents à Soweto qui militaient pour leur droit à une éducation de qualité en 1976 sous le régime de l’apartheid en Africain du Sud.

La journée mondiale de l’enfant Africain est aussi , un événement qui rappelle aux dirigeants du monde l’importance de soutenir tous les enfants en Afrique et de défendre leurs droits.

En République Démocratique du Congo, la célébration de la journée a été placée sous le thème : »éducation pour tous les enfants en Afrique : l’heure est venue ». Cependant, ce droit garanti par l’État Congolais, notamment, au premier alinéa de l’article 43 de la Constitution de la RDC du 18 février 2006 modifiée, à ce jours. Cet article dispose en effet que, toute personne a droit à l’éducation scolaire. Il y est pourvu par l’enseignement national.

Ce droit aujourd’hui, compromis par la guerre d’agression Rwandaise sous le label du M23 qui occasionne un déplacement massif de populations des territoires occupés et les enfants en sont victimes de premier rang, scolarité à l’arrêt et difficultés aux soins de santé de qualité.

En marge sa célébration, six organisation non gouvernementales se sont mobilisées ce lundi, 17 juin pour compatir avec les enfants déplacés du Site de Rusayo dans la partie occidentale de la ville de Goma. Parmi ces ONG l’on peut citer, Umoja Africa-RDC, le réseau des organisations pour lutte contre le recrutement des enfants dans les groupes armés et la SED. Objectif, redonner sourire à ces enfants touchés par les affres de guerre.

Occasion pour l’organisation solidarité pour les enfants en détresse, SED, d’annoncer la construction d’un centre d’accueil transitoire en faveur de 50 enfants déplacés de guerre déjà en encadrement dans « l’espace ami d’enfants », érigé en plein coeur de Rusayo.

« Nous avons ciblés les enfants qui sont dans une situation très critique qui ont perdus leur parents pendant la guerre », a renseigné madame KATIMBURA Ronde, coordinatrice de la SED.

Cet orphelinat en construction sera un hébergement des enfants qui, même si la guerre finisse, n’ont pas où aller parce qu’ils ont perdus leur proches, a affirmé la coordinatrice de la solidarité pour les enfants en détresse qui par la même occasion, a lancée un cri d’alarme aux autorités locales que nationales pour un appui nécessaire à la construction de cet abris humanitaire et à la communauté internationale qui semble fermer ses yeux face aux violations des droits humains perpétrés en République Démocratique du Congo par le mouvement du 23 mars.
