Pour la toute première fois, l’organisation « Visit Kivu » fait son apparition au Nord-Kivu, c’était pendant les heures des travaux communautaires du samedi 03 Mai 2025 à Goma, une ville contrôlée par le mouvement révolutionnaire AFC-M23.
Une association initiée spécialement par les jeunes de la diaspora Congolaise au Rwanda, elle aurait pour objectif, d’appuyer les autorités locales dans l’assainissement de la ville afin d’attirer les touristes vers Goma.
« Nous sommes samedi, comme chaque semaine, c’est le jour des Salongo. Suite à la discrimination, nous avions fuit notre Pays vers le Rwanda, maintenant, nous sommes de retour pour participer à la construction de chez-nous », a déclaré Arnaud Nsengiyera Niyigaba, Coordonnateur de l’organisation.
Avec son équipe d’une dizaine de jeunes filles et garçons, ils se sont lancés dans l’entretien du Rond-point cercle sportif de Goma où, les bouteilles en plastique, les sachets ont été collectionnés avant d’être évacués par les véhicules de la Mairie.
En croire Arnaud Nsengiyera Niyigaba, l’organisation aurait deux mois depuis sa création qui aurait été motivée par le fait de voir la ville de Goma à un mauvais état sur plan hygiénique, quitte à eux, de participer à son assainissement, a-t-il dit.
Toutefois, »Visit Kivu » n’est pas la première organisation qui appuie l’initiative des travaux communautaires (Salongo) initiés par les autorités urbaines de l’Administration AFC-M23, même si, elle reste la seule qui semble placée en priorité, l’influence de la ville de Goma dans la région du « Kivu ».
