Après les agitations dues aux bruits d’armes lourdes et légères dans la nuit de vendredi au samedi, la ville de Goma au Nord-Kivu, à l’Est de la République Démocratique du Congo s’est réveillée ce 14 avril 2025 au rythme d’un weekend normal, malgré les tirs d’armes qui attendus par les populations de certains quartiers.
Depuis la prise de contrôle de la ville par l’AFC-M23 à la fin du mois de janvier dernier, l’Administration installée par le Mouvement révolutionnaire avait instauré les travaux communautaires appelés communément « Salongo », au début du mois de février.
Malgré la psychose nocturne, la population résiliente de la ville volcanique s’est réveillée avec une motivation qu’on aurait pu imaginer.

Autorités comme citoyens ordinaires, tout monde était déjà sur différentes artères de la ville pour redonner à Goma son sens d’une ville touristique.
Guidées par le Maire adjoint, Désiré Ngabo Kisuba, les équipes de l’administration urbaine ont participé au Salongo dans les quartiers de la commune de Karimbi, notamment, le quartier Majengo.

Comme dans tous les territoires sous contrôle de l’AFC-M23, les matinées de chaque samedi sont consacrées au « Salongo », prévus à Goma, de 6 heures 30 à 10 heures.
Mais, pour aujourd’hui, c’est particulier parce toute la population Congolaise a été alerté que la ville de Goma est en insécurité pourtant, tout le monde se porte bien et après ces travaux communautaires, chacun vaquera librement à ses occupations, a dit Henri Magie, cadre du Mouvement et envoyé du Coordinateur politique de l’AFC-M23, Corneille Nangaa Yobeluo.
